I am an educator with twelve years experience in technology enhanced learning and teaching in Higher Education. I am also a qualified mathematics teacher, and I spent eight years teaching and in management in the Further Education sector prior to joining Cardiff University.
I work in digital education as a Digital Learning Manager at the Cardiff University’s Learning and Teaching Academy. I also teach on the Medical Education intercalated degree.
I live in West Wales where I enjoy cliff-top walks and photographing the landscape. I blog at Little Storping on life in general, at Moel Rhos on my garden railway, and at Simon’s Thought Development Oven on learning, teaching and technology. I’m also on Mastodon (and temporarily on ALT’s Mastodon instance) and on Pixelfed.
I’m a regular host on the Fusion Patrol podcast discussing episodes of vintage sci-fi TV.
