I am a Lecturer in Medical Education at Cardiff University. I have over two decades of experience in teaching and supporting teaching, for the past thirteen years working in Higher Education as a learning technologist and a digital learning manager before moving into medical education.
I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I am also a qualified maths teacher and prior to moving into Higher Education, I spent eight years teaching and in management in the Further Education sector.
I live in West Wales where I enjoy cliff-top walks and photographing the landscape. I blog at Little Storping on life in general, at Moel Rhos on my garden railway, and at Simon’s Thought Development Oven on learning, teaching and technology.
I’m a regular host on the Fusion Patrol podcast discussing episodes of vintage sci-fi TV.
